SigneDemocracy: democratic empowerment of Deaf and hard-of-hearing youth
Civic education and democratic participation are rarely accessible in sign language. SigneDemocracy empowers deaf and hard-of-hearing young people in Slovakia, Greece and Bulgaria to take part in democratic life — through inclusive civic education in Slovak, Greek and Bulgarian Sign Language and International Sign.
Innosign coordinates the project: it leads the partnership, designs the accessible learning content and connects deaf young people with civic institutions.
