We are thrilled to share some amazing news that marks the culmination of our work on the Art&Signs project. The last few days have been incredibly intense and emotional for us at Innosign, as we have received recognition not only at home but also directly in the heart of the European Union🇪🇺.
👉 Európska cena za inovatívne vzdelávanie – Erasmusplus Slovensko

From Brussels Straight to the Stage in Bratislava
Just two days ago (09.12.2025), we had the honor of being in Brussels, where the European Commission – EITA (European Innovative Teaching Award) held a festive awards ceremony for the best projects under the Erasmus+ program. This prestigious event brought together winners from all over Europe – with more than 100 projects from various countries being awarded. While Slovakia had several successful organizations and schools in the running across different categories, Innosign proudly represented our country in the European Language Label (ELL) category.

Immediately after returning from Brussels, our steps led us to a festive Advent concert organized by SAAIC (Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation). It was here that the circle closed, and our European victory was confirmed on home soil as well.

European Language Label (ELL)
This year, Innosign was awarded the European Language Label (ELL). This initiative focuses on innovative approaches to language learning. It is a huge honor for us that the award for Slovakia in this specific category went into our hands. At the same time, we deeply appreciate that the quality of our project was also confirmed by the European Commission itself.
👉 ART&SIGNS – Art, Culture and Museum Accessibility for Deaf Audience
What is the Art&Signs Project About?

The Art&Signs project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, was launched with the goal of increasing the accessibility of museums and galleries for deaf visitors. The main aim was to train museum staff to acquire the linguistic and technical skills needed for better communication with the deaf community. Part of the project involved the development of specialized video dictionaries containing technical terms from the fields of art and culture in six national sign languages and International Sign. These materials are freely available on our e-learning platform.
Success Belongs to All of Us
This success would not have been possible without great teamwork and partnerships. As the project coordinator, the Innosign team wants to express huge gratitude to everyone who lent a hand.
In Slovakia, special thanks go to Snepeda for their help with vocabulary and DeafStudio for their professional video production.
We also thank the entire international consortium, which consisted of partners from Italy 🇮🇹, Romania 🇷🇴, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Cyprus 🇨🇾, and Spain 🇪🇸:

Acknowledgments
Holding awards from both Brussels and Slovakia in our hands is a powerful moment for us. Therefore, we want to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the project, who supported us, and who helped us move forward.
Special thanks, of course, also go to the national agency SAAIC, without whom the realization of this project—thanks to funding from the Erasmus+ program—could not have taken place.
This award does not belong only to the Innosign brand. It belongs to every single one of you.
Our thanks and respect go to you all.
