Let’s Sign About S3X is an international project 🤝 bringing together five organizations from Austria 🇦🇹, Italy 🇮🇹, Slovakia 🇸🇰, the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and the Czech Republic 🇨🇿. The project focuses on breaking taboos around sex, sexuality, gender diversity and sexual health within the Deaf community 👐.
The main goal of the project is to equip youth workers and trainers 🎓 with practical skills, knowledge and tools that enable them to work sensitively, professionally and inclusively with Deaf young people when addressing sensitive topics 💬.
✨ Main project activities:
🧠 Workshops and training
Raising awareness and sensitivity towards gender diversity, sexual orientation and sexual health.
🎥 Educational materials
Creating multimedia educational resources in sign language and in simple, easy-to-understand formats.
🌍 International cooperation
Sharing experiences among partners and jointly developing inclusive and effective educational materials.
Sex should not be a taboo 🚫. Let’s Sign About S3X creates a safe and respectful space 💖 where it is possible to talk openly about sex, sexuality and health, without shame and with respect for the dignity of every person.
