From 7 to 11 October 2024, our LTTA (Learning, Training, Teaching, and Activities) took place in Turin, Italy, as part of the Financial Signs project, which focuses on improving financial literacy educational materials through innovative methods and collaboration. Three participants from different countries met to share their experiences and work together on new educational approaches. Oliver Krajčír, Pavel Šrabák, and Marek Kanaš also participated.
On Monday, 7 October 2024, participants began arriving at the venue. Upon arrival, they were greeted with a welcome ceremony that kicked off the entire week. In the evening, everyone met for a joint dinner followed by free time.
On Tuesday, 8 October 2024, the program started with a visit to the IST Academy, where discussions on various concepts and creating a common understanding took place. After lunch, participants focused on project tools that aided in developing their projects. The day ended with a reflection session to evaluate the knowledge gained.
Wednesday, 9 October 2024, was dedicated to sharing personal experiences in finance. After a break, work continued on project tools and content development through collaboration and feedback. After a full day of work, participants gathered again for reflection.
On Thursday, 10 October 2024, the program focused on blended learning. After a break, participants engaged in collaborative content development, addressing assessment and conclusions of individual modules. The day concluded with traditional reflection.
On Friday, 11 October 2024, group presentations of each module’s content took place, allowing participants to gain insights into others’ work. After a final reflection and lunch, participants prepared to depart.
A week full of learning and collaboration brought many new insights and experiences. Participants had the opportunity not only to expand their professional knowledge but also to form new friendships and contacts. We believe that the experiences gained will enrich their future work, and we hope to soon test these educational materials in a pilot training in their country. Thank you all for participating, and we wish you much success in further activities within this project!
