On June 28 and 29, 2024, the 2nd transnational project meeting dedicated to the culture, heritage, and diversity of the deaf took place in Prešov, Slovakia. The event was hosted by Innosign, which prepared a rich program full of discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Representatives from various organizations participated, including Turkoois, Equalizent, IST, and WITAF. The aim was to share experiences and propose new approaches to education and support for the deaf community.
The first day focused on reviewing achieved goals and the current status of projects. Participants discussed the curriculum structure and the revision of deadlines to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. During coffee breaks, informal discussions helped strengthen relationships among partners.
The second day was dedicated to brainstorming and planning future activities, including projects within the LTTA in Vienna. The importance of sustainability and quality management was also discussed to ensure continuity and success of the projects.
Among the attendees was Marek Kanáš, who contributed his knowledge and experience. His presence enriched the discussions and strengthened collaboration among participants.
Overall, this meeting brought many inspirational ideas and advanced initiatives aimed at supporting the deaf community in our society.
